Illescas joins Spain’s national VET reference network for aircraft construction

Royal Decree 738/2026 of 23 September was published in the Spanish Official Gazette on 25 September and came into force on 26 September. It gives the Illescas Training Centre, owned by Castile-La Mancha, national reference status in Aircraft Construction within Mechanical Manufacturing. The agreement between the Ministry of Education and the regional government forms an annex.
This establishes one designated reference centre. It does not amend the general VET curriculum or impose new duties on other schools, colleges or universities.
